It is no secret that the 2020 global Coronavirus pandemic threw the events industry into turmoil. Public events and gatherings were prohibited, meaning a slew of cancellations of existing contracts, a hold on pending quotes and enquiries, and the hope of future work being systematically dashed as the reality and longevity of the pandemic became more and more apparent over the months.
This presented an opportunity for growth that Show Works Creative Entertainment grabbed with both hands, and we moved swiftly into the world of virtual eventing.
Over the past two years, we have honed our skills at working on hundreds of various virtual events platforms: from Zoom webinars, to MSTeamsLive events, Remo conferences, to Youtube and FacebookLive events, as well as producing events on various customisable live streaming platforms such Blue Jeans, Item, Events Live and many others, to produce global conferences and events.
As restrictions lifted, we began hosting a multitude of hybrid events streaming live from studio in both JHB and CPT, and have facilitated business updates, networking client events, TV & product launches, as well as hosted year-end functions, team building exercises, & corporate awards ceremonies.
