MultiChoice Africa Corporate Affairs Teambuilding – Virtual Event
The MultiChoice Africa Corporate Affairs Teambuild was one of the most fun and interactive virtual events we have worked on this year. Using the concept of a virtual airplane journey to take passengers on a journey around Africa, we ‘visited’ 4 countries, and in each destination, guests participated in an interactive activity.
Guests received a branded box with everything they needed for the journey, as well as their online boarding and check-in details.
With the Remo platform, we created for custom-branded floorplans, denoting the CA Airways airplane and the various destinations. As we landed in the various countries, the floorplan changed and guests were able to move around the space and chat to each other.
Our MC and tour guide, Mpho Popps, hosted the event, and members of the staff made up the cabin crew, with fun pre-recorded videos to introduce each destination and activity.
In Nigeria, guests warmed up with a dance class; and in Kenya Chef Jono did a cooking demo to show guests how to prepare and plate their lunch. We then headed to the Jozi Film Festival in South Africa where teams competed in a movie and trivia quiz. Ending up in Mauritius at a beach bar for our ‘virtual happy hour’, guests were taught how to make a delicious Mai Tai cocktail by mixologist, Owen O’Reilly.
Who says virtual events can’t still be engaging, creative and fun!?
