E! Africa Party
Johannesburg’s hottest celebs, VIPs and Media were treated to the glitziest Red Carpet Party the continent has seen, at NBCUniversal’s E! Africa Party, hosted at the stylish 03Desmond rooftop. The event offered a striking view of the Jozi skyline at sunset and guests enjoyed delectable canapes, oysters, sushi and cocktails.
A host of exciting brands partnered with NBCUniversal to make this event one to remember – the event boasted a Jaguar display, a Revlon Glam Station, Moet & Chandon welcome drinks, a Belvedere Cocktail Bar and the pièce de résistance: a Gert-Johan Coetzee & Danny K Fashion Collab, sponsored by Cell C!
Guests arrrived on a glamorous Red Carpet, lit by the flashing bulbs of scores of paparazzi, all jostling to get their snapshot of the hundreds of gorgeous gowns gracing the walkway. Queen B – Bonang – hosted the Red Carpet, dressed by designer of the night, Gert-Johan Coetzee.
This truly was a party to remember, with entertainment by Riky Rick, Kings of the Weekend DJ Naves and DJ SPHEctacular, and favourite party DJ, DJ Luis. The evening’s line-up was kicked off by a thrilling Fashion Collab, where leggy models strutted their stuff in the latest Gert-Johan Coetzee range – created exclusively for the E! Africa Party – to the musical talents of the awesome Danny K.
After the evening’s line-up, guests turned it up the dancefloor, and finally departed in the early hours, with goodie bags laden with sponsored merchandise.
